Caring for your FEILER is simple, and doing so helps them stay soft, vibrant, and long-lasting. With a few easy steps, you can maintain their plush texture, rich colors, and everyday practicality. Follow these guidelines to enjoy your items at their best, wash after wash.

  • Machine Wash Warm

    Up to 140°F

  • Low Heat Dry

    Tumble dry or air dry

  • Avoid

    Bleach, fabric softener, dry clean

Natural Shrinkage & Lint

Natural shrinkage after the first wash is normal and helps the fabric become denser and softer — products may shrink by approximately 10% from their original size.

Some initial lint shedding may occur during early washes or drying; this is temporary and does not affect quality or performance.

Washing & Drying

Machine wash warm (up to 140°F) with similar colors using a mild detergent. Washing before first use is recommended to enhance softness and absorbency.

Tumble dry on a low-heat, gentle setting or allow to air dry naturally to maintain the chenille’s plush texture. Avoid washing with items that have hooks, zippers, or rough hardware.

Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean, and avoid harsh detergents to help preserve the fabric’s texture and rich color.

What to Avoid

To maintain the quality and absorbency of cotton chenille, avoid:

  • Bleach or optical brighteners
  • Fabric softener
  • Ironing or dry cleaning

Harsh treatments can damage the fibers and affect color vibrancy over time.

Hand-Wash Only Items

Textile accessories such as toiletry bags or items with linings or decorative details should be hand washed only.

Gently clean using lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Do not wring. Lay flat or hang to air dry to help maintain shape and structure.
